JPL Films Ltd, trading as Bad Guys Films, is the controller of your personal data. Company number 13058676, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: Suite 38 & 39 Venture West, Greenham Business Park, Thatcham, Berkshire, RG19 6HX. Contact: badguysprod@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
- Waitlist and newsletter: your email address, and your name if you give it.
- Enquiries: your name, email address and the content of your message.
- Course purchases: your name, email address, billing details and course progress. Card details are handled by the payment provider, never by us.
- Website use: technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics.

We never sell your data. We share it only with providers who help us run the business:
- Squarespace: website hosting, forms and email.
- Teachable: course hosting and enrolment, once the course launches.
- Payment providers (such as Stripe or PayPal) used by those platforms.
- Our accountant, for legal and tax purposes.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
5. International transfers
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where your data leaves the UK, it is protected by approved safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
6. How long we keep it
- Waitlist and newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Enquiries: up to 2 years.
- Purchase records: 6 years after the end of the financial year, as UK tax law requires.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable format and to withdraw consent. To use any of these rights, email badguysprod@gmail.com. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113). We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
8. Children
Our website and courses are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
